To apply for admission to the Penn State Smeal Executive MBA Program, please complete the steps below. Once submitted, our admissions team will preliminarily review your application materials. Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an admissions interview as the next step in the process. International applicants may be required to submit scores for the TOEFL or IELTS to the Graduate School. Further information can be found on the Graduate School website.

1. Request Educational Transcripts
Request one official transcript from each institution attended, regardless of the number of credits or semesters completed. Transcripts not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation. Penn State alumni do not need to request transcripts for credits earned at Penn State, but must list Penn State as part of your academic history. Arrange for transcripts to be mailed to:

2. Email Materials
Send an email to email@example.com with (Your Last Name): Smeal EMBA Application as the subject. Attach the following:
- Current Resume
- Completed Self-Assessment Form: Download the self-assessment form (PDF).
- Essays: Address topics 1 and 2 below, along with the optional third topic. Each essay should be no more than one page in length.
Topic 1: We all have had situations where our integrity has been challenged. Please provide such a situation, an explanation of what you did, and what you learned from it.
Topic 2: What are your short-term and long-term goals? How will an MBA from the Smeal College of Business help you to attain them?
Topic 3 (Optional): Is there anything you would like to add for the admissions committee to review?
3. Request Two Recommendations
Download the recommendation form (PDF) and email it to two individuals qualified to recommend your candidacy. Recommenders should be of a professional nature and include a present or prior supervisor. Recommenders should email completed forms to firstname.lastname@example.org.
