During the 21-month Penn State Smeal Executive MBA Program, students will meet for alternating class weekends that begin on Friday afternoons and conclude on Saturday evenings at the ACE Conference Center.
Classes run from 1:30 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. on Fridays and from 8 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. on Saturdays. On Friday evenings, students typically meet with their teams to complete projects and assignments, or to attend supplemental lectures that may be scheduled as part of that weekend's activities. Meals also offer time for students to network and review material. An informal dinner is held on Friday nights, and breakfast and lunch are offered on Saturdays.
Faculty from Penn State's University Park campus also reside on site at the ACE Center during class weekends. It's a unique level of access that accelerates student development and allows students and professors to work side-by-side on real business challenges.
