Undergraduate Education: A community of more than 5,000 undergraduates contributes substantially to our status as one of the largest business schools in the nation. Students can specialize in distinct areas of business via our portfolio of majors; study abroad in locations around the world; get involved in our student organizations; and connect with top companies.
MBA:The residential Smeal MBA Program spans two academic years on the University Park campus. The program is a target destination for top companies seeking talent for internships and full-time opportunities and features various concentration options, personalized career development services, an international immersion experience, and a team-based corporate consulting project in the final semester.
Executive MBA: The Smeal Executive MBA Program spans 21 months with alternating class weekends at the ACE Conference Center in suburban Philadelphia. The program features a cohort of rising business leaders from some of the Mid-Atlantic’s top companies, individualized executive coaching, a weeklong international immersion, coursework focused on your unique business challenges, and the same top-ranked faculty who teach in the college’s full-time MBA Program.
Master of Accounting: The Smeal One-Year Master of Accounting Program is designed for students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree, while the Integrated MAcc Program spans five years and results in both a bachelor’s and master’s degree. Both programs connect a community of more than 400 students to recruiters from major international and regional accounting firms and provide the required credit hours needed to take the certified public accountant exam following graduation.
Master of Supply Chain Management: Offered in conjunction with Penn State World Campus, the online Master of Professional Studies in Supply Chain Management prepares working students to examine supply chain processes, manage information-technology-enabled logistics, and craft supply chain strategies. Smeal also offers a one-year online Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management.
Ph.D.: The Smeal doctoral program offers six primary fields of study in accounting, finance, management and organization, marketing, real estate, and supply chain and information systems. Student hone their capabilities to conduct effective research in their area of specialization alongside highly ranked faculty, preparing them to pursue faculty positions at leading research institutions.
