The Center for Supply Chain Research (CSCR) would like to congratulate all the Gartner 2014 Supply Chain Top 25. We are especially pleased that through CSCR sponsorship and/or recruitment activities, the Center has partnered with over half of these leading supply chain organizations.
CSCR would first like to recognize our corporate sponsors for achieving the Top 25 -- Unilever (#4), P&G (#5), Kimberly-Clark (#21), and Johnson & Johnson (#22). In addition to our four sponsors, CSCR is also very proud that the Top 25 also includes ten companies that actively recruit our Smeal Supply Chain and Information Systems graduate and undergraduate students each spring and fall at the CSCR Supply Chain Career Fair. Congratulations go out to Apple (#1), Amazon.com (#3), Intel (#8), Colgate-Palmolive (#9), WalMart Stores (#14), PepsiCo (#15), 3M (#18), Caterpillar (#23), Cummins (#24), and Nestle (#25).
Gartner, Inc., revealed the findings of their 10th annual Supply Chain Top 25 at the Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference in Arizona this past May. The supply chains were ranked according to composite scores of peer and Gartner analyst opinions, return on assets, inventory turns, and revenue growth. The findings also indicated three reoccurring trends in the Top 25: Understanding and supporting the fully contextualized customer, a convergence of digital and physical supply chains delivering a total customer solution, and the supply chain recognition as a trusted and integrated partner. Access the Gartner press release for more details.
