The S & OP Knowledge Management System is a tool that may be used by member companies to access information that was presented during our previous meetings.

The system contains a Sales and Operations Planning Overview and then information organized according to the five step S & OP process:

  • Gather Information
  • Demand Planning
  • Supply Planning
  • Pre-S & OP Meeting
  • Executive Review

The overview and each of the areas above include a link to additional information. The additional information will include presentations from the Center for Supply Chain Research, Penn State professors, member companies, visiting companies, and consultants. These presentations are categorized by topic area: metrics, roles and responsibilities, templates, learnings, challenges and more.

To enhance networking, the knowledge management system also has a directory of member companies with names, their role and the software they use so that other member companies may contact them to answer questions.
