"GET IN THE GAME: The Business of Sports in America Today" featured Pittsburgh Steelers Owner / President Art Rooney II, long-time NFL General Manager Ernie Accorsi (Giants, Browns and Colts) and Chris Bevilaqua, Principal of SCP Worldwide (owners of St. Louis Blues, NHL and MLS's Real Salt Lake City and Broadway theatre company, Running Subway) and founder and former president of CSTV in a series of late morning and mid-day presentations.
Afternoon rotating panels focused on "The Reality of Managing Teams and Leagues," "Media, Marketing and Advertising: The Buck Comes Here" and "Owning, Buying and Paying: The World of Sports Finance." Panelists included Ernie Accorsi, Chris Bevilaqua and executives from the NBA, Pittsburgh Pirates, JP Morgan, State College Spikes, Penn State Athletics, Learfield Sports and others.
Lunch was included as were networking opportunities.
