Dean Jordan

Dean Jordan manages OnSport’s properties and media practice. Prior to joining OnSport, Jordan served as president and COO of Gale Force Holdings, the parent company of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes and RBC center Management Corporation. At Huizenga Sports and Entertainment in South Florida, Jordan was executive vice president of the Florida Panthers and senior vice president of the Florida Marlins. As president of Front Row Communications, he oversaw marketing, media sales and broadcast interests for the Marlins, Panthers, Miami Dolphins, Pro Player Stadium and Office Depot Center.

  • Successfully negotiated television broadcast rights for the Pacific Ten Conference, Mountain West Conference, and Florida Citrus Sports.

  • Studied the state of upscale alliance marketing for a luxury hotel in Las Vegas.
  • Negotiated naming rights and operating agreements for Sears Centre outside Chicago.
  • Developed a system to analyze potential sites for the NASCAR Hall of Fame, reviewed proposals, uncovered site-specific opportunities, and oversaw final negotiations.
  • Developed marketing strategies, conducted television negotiations, and evaluated venue extension opportunities for Maloof Sports& Entertainment, owner of the Sacramento Kings, the Sacramento Monarchs, and Arco Arena.
  • Working for the Presidential Coalition for Athletic Reform, demonstrated categorically to the Bowl Championship Series what was fair and reasonable television coverage for the client’s teams.
  • Negotiated the first ever non-exclusive cable agreement in college sports for Conference USA.
  • Served on the board of the Baseball Network, the Super Bowl XIX host committee, and the MLB All-Star Game committee.
