Our Office of Career and Corporate Services manages the Smeal Internship and Co-Op Program. For other job types, such as full-time placement, please reach out to the appropriate point of contact.
Even if you are not planning to interview on campus, you can still recruit for internships and co-ops at Smeal.
Seven On Campus Internship Recruiting Steps
Step 1
We recommend that you begin planning your on-campus recruiting visit six to eight months in advance.

Step 2
Contact Adora Way, recruiting manager, to confirm a date for your visit and to reserve an interview room in the Business Building or in the Penn State Career Services Bank of America Building. Interview rooms are booked on a first-come, first-served basis with priority to our Corporate Associate members.
Many companies also schedule information sessions and other events in conjunction with or in the weeks before interviewing. Please contact Adora Way for help with your event.
Step 3
Receive
your e-mail confirmation with your password for logging into our online recruitment
management system, Symplicity.
Step 4
Log into Symplicity to post job descriptions, view submitted resumes, preselect students for interviews, and to access your interview schedules.
Step 5
Review candidate resumes approximately three weeks prior to your visit. You will be given a deadline by which you must indicate your preselected interview candidates.
Step 6
We will set up your interview schedule to meet your needs.
Step 7
We will notify the preselected candidates for you. You may check the status of the interview schedule online at any time during the process.
