Program Format

Each of the four courses that are part of the Graduate Certificate in Corporate Accounting is delivered online in partnership with Penn State World Campus. Online offerings from Penn State and Smeal allow you to continue your full-time employment and advance in your career as you build your skills.

Curriculum

The intensive program covers the core topics of a baccalaureate accounting program at a pace and depth appropriate to graduate students. Complete coursework in Financial Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, and Managerial Accounting.

Admissions

If you are a prospective student with at least an accredited baccalaureate degree in an area of study other than accounting, this program may be for you. Admission decisions--made by the mid-summer application deadline--will be based on a complete Smeal College of Business application for graduate study along with a Penn State Graduate School application.

If you are looking for a broader course of study to supplement your Graduate Certificate in Corporate Accounting, consider the Penn State Online MBA Program. Core coursework covers the foundations of critical business areas including, supply chain management, accounting, corporate innovation and entrepreneurship, team performance, and ethics.
