Through the Mentoring Program, student protégés gain insights into career paths while mentors experience the satisfaction of guiding the next generation of Penn Staters. This program requires the time commitment of one academic year.
Alumni Career Coaches may assist fellow alumni who are going through a career transition by helping them learn more about a specific industry or job, as well as assisting with parts of the job search preparation process.
Alumni can volunteer their expertise and provide advice at various events co-sponsored by Smeal's Career & Corporate Connections Office and Alumni Relations Office. They can also offer to be contacted on a one-off basis for career tips and advice.
The Student Organization Alumni Adviser Program provides Smeal student organizations with an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue with alumni who are experts in their field and can share "real-world" insights and experiences.
Smeal student organizations often seek guest speakers, panelists, or alumni attendees for their meetings or events. Alumni can interact with student organizations in person, or via phone or video.
Regional chapters allow graduates to work together in a variety of ways. Smeal currently has clubs in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Washington, D.C.

The college offers a variety of ways for companies to tap into the resources of the Smeal community.
Philanthropic support makes an enormous difference at Smeal, whether it is an immediate gift for current use or the creation of an endowment that will last into perpetuity or the possibility of planning for a future gift through your estate.
