Ways to Get Involved
The Smeal College of Business offers a number of ways for alumni to give of their time, talent, and treasure. To get involved, complete the online Volunteer Interest form and a member of the Smeal Alumni Relations team will be in touch with you regarding your interests.
The Smeal Alumni Society seeks to enhance the value and reputation of the college through a number of initiatives.
Through the Mentoring Program, student protégés gain insights into career paths while mentors experience the satisfaction of guiding the next generation of Penn Staters. This program requires the time commitment of one academic year.
Alumni can volunteer to connect with students on a one-off basis, and provide advice about career decisions and other business topics.
The Student Organization Alumni Adviser Program provides Smeal student organizations with an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue with alumni who are experts in their field and can share "real-world" insights and experiences.
Smeal student organizations often seek guest speakers, panelists, or alumni attendees for their meetings or events. Alumni can interact with student organizations in person, or via phone or video.
Regional chapters allow graduates to work together in a variety of ways. Smeal currently has clubs in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Washington, D.C.
The college hosts a variety of alumni events, both on campus and around the country, to provide our alumni and friends of the college with the opportunity to meet the dean and hear more about progress at Smeal.
The college offers a variety of ways for companies to tap into the resources of the Smeal community.
