Mentoring Program

Smeal College of Business Mentoring Program

Created by the Smeal Alumni Society Board and the Alumni Relations Team, the college’s Mentoring Program facilitates meaningful and mutually beneficial mentoring relationships between alumni and students. The mentoring relationship is a one-year commitment between the student (protégé) and the alum (mentor).

Through the program, student protégés learn about various career paths and professional fields and enhance their personal and professional networks, while mentors experience the satisfaction of guiding the next generation of Penn Staters. Mentoring pairs are encouraged to discuss topics such as major exploration, internship or career planning, leadership development, or the college-to-career transition.
