2015 Award Recipient: Jon Grosso '89 Management
Jon Grosso is the executive vice president, director of stores, loss prevention, merchandise presentation and office of store administration for Kohl’s. He has served in this role since 2007. Grosso currently leads 130,000 associates including over 100 management leaders. Under his leadership, Kohl’s has grown from 300 stores to 1,163 stores. His commitment and focus to associate engagement and customer service has resulted in positioning Kohl’s as best in class. Grosso has been with Kohl’s since 2001. Previously, he held multiple positions at Macy’s during a 14-year tenure, including regional vice president of operations. Grosso is committed to multiple charitable organizations including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Prevention of Child Abuse in Chicago, Penfield’s Children’s Center of Milwaukee, American Cancer Society, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. He is also an active member of the Smeal Board of Visitors.
