2012 Award Recipient: David Marcinek, ’93 Finance

Marcinek is co-head of the U.S. Financial Institutions Financing Group in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. In this role, he leads the effort that advises and executes capital raising and risk management transactions for the world’s preeminent financial institutions. Marcinek joined Goldman Sachs in 1998 as an associate and was named managing director in 2005 and partner in 2008. In addition, Marcinek and his wife Susan helped found and support New Narratives, a non-profit media development organization in Liberia. Marcinek resides in Brooklyn, New York with Susan, son Owen, and daughter Annabelle.
