Alumni Society Board

The mission of the Smeal Alumni Society Board is to enhance the value and reputation of Smeal by cultivating a community of active, engaged alumni; building and maintaining forums for student and alumni interaction; and providing a meaningful connection between the college and alumni.

Task Forces

Alumni Engagement: assist Smeal's Alumni Relations office with formalizing the process for volunteering with the college, including the identification of new volunteer opportunities and programs.

Awards: recognizes Smeal students and alumni for their exceptional service to the Smeal College of Business and Penn State.

Business and Community Relationships: oversees and provides support to new and existing Affiliate Program Groups (APGs).

Mentoring: builds and maintains active forum for student and alumni interaction.

Strategic Plan: focuses on strategic initiatives for the Smeal College of Business and the Alumni Society Board.

Student & Alumni Recruitment: helps attract and retain the "best and brightest" students and alumni to Smeal.
