Accounting Ph.D. Program

The Accounting Ph.D. program at Smeal is one of the top Ph.D. programs in accounting throughout the country, and is designed to help prepare candidates for successful and productive careers as faculty members. GMAT scores are only accepted for admission to the Accounting Ph.D. program.

Masters in Accounting (MAcc)

To be licensed as a certified public accountant (CPA) in nearly ever state, including Pennsylvania, individuals must now complete 150 hours of education to better meet the expanding demands of the profession. The integrated undergraduate-graduate program in accounting-the MAcc-from the Smeal College of Business will fulfill this educational standard.

Please contact Tammy Whitehill at tas1@psu.edu or 814-865-0041 for more information.

*NOTE: This program is only open to Smeal or DUS undergraduate students planning to select Accounting or Finance as their major. A one-year program for anyone who has already obtained a bachelor's degree at Penn State or elsewhere, will be available in the near future. Continue to check this website for updates.
