John Strackhouse, ’79, is a senior partner with the technology practice of Heidrick & Struggles. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at Software, Semi-Conductor, Wireless and Communications Practice.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mr. Strackhouse was a general manager for the Tab Products Company. During his 14-year career, Mr. Strackhouse held a progression of management positions in the Philadelphia and Atlanta areas prior to relocating to Toronto. John currently lives with his wife and two children in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. In addition to serving on the Smeal College Board of Visitors, he also serves on the William Penn Charter School Leadership Committee and the Advisory Board of the RBC Capital Partners Technology Fund.

Mr. Strackhouse received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State in 1979.
