Stephen Sheetz, ’69, is chairman of the board of Sheetz, Inc., one of the largest family owned and operated convenience store chains in the country.

After receiving a bachelor of science in business management from Penn State in 1969, Mr. Sheetz completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard University. While serving as a Penn State Trustee, member of the Penn State Altoona Advisory Board, and chairperson of several capital campaigns, Mr. Sheetz has contributed significantly to the future of the University, at Penn State Altoona, in particular. He also has shared his experience and expertise with students at Penn State Altoona and University Park as a frequent guest speaker. Mr. Sheetz has been honored as a Penn State Alumni Fellow, in 1999, and was named a Distinguished Alumnus of Penn State in 1994. He currently serves on the advisory board for Penn State Altoona.
