Matthew Schuyler, '87, lives in McLean, Virginia and is Chief Human Resources Officer at Hilton Worldwide.  Matt has more than 20 years of experience in corporate human resource management and is responsible for guiding the company’s global human resources strategy and execution for over 600,000 team members across 92 countries.  He is a member of Hilton’s Executive Committee and leads the human resources organization from the company’s global headquarters in McLean, Virginia.  Prior to joining Hilton in July 2009, Matt was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Capital One Financial Corporation where he was responsible for guiding the Fortune 500 Company’s award-winning human resources strategy and execution, as well as overseeing Capital One’s corporate real estate portfolio and corporate sustainability efforts.  Prior to Capital One, Matt held leadership positions with Cisco Systems, Inc., where he was a Vice President of Human Resources, and with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a partner in the Global Human Resources group. 

Matt holds an MBS degree from the University of Michigan and has a bachelors degree in business from Penn State.  He serves on the National Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
