Paul R. Lewis, ’75, is a management consultant for Misys Healthcare Systems. He was a founding member of IBM Global Services and worldwide general manager of its consulting business. He is the past president and CEO of Revivio and Essential.com. He has also served as managing director of the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. He has worked for Harbridge House, InterConsult, Inc., Data Resources, Inc., and the Bureau of the Census, U.S. Department of Commerce.

Previously, he was chairman, president and CEO of Essential.com, a web-based energy and communications marketplace. Mr. Lewis spent many years at IBM Corporation, where he was a founding member of IBM Global Services and worldwide general manager of its consulting business. During his tenure, the consulting organization grew from a pure start-up business to a multi-billion dollar global leader. Mr. Lewis' career has included consulting positions with Harbridge House in Boston, now part of PricewaterhouseCoopers/IBM Global Services; InterConsult, Inc., a market research firm; Data Resources, Inc., now part of Global Insight; and the Bureau of the Census, U.S. Department of Commerce. Mr. Lewis earned his master of business administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds his bachelor's degree in economics, with a concentration in mathematics and econometrics from Penn State University.
