Grant Thornton LLP

Lou Grabowsky, '73, is the central region managing partner for Grant Thornton, LLP's Dallas office. Grant Thornton is an accounting, tax, and business advisory organization with firms in over 80 countries, including 50 offices in the United States. He is responsible for all operations within the region including client service and professional matters.

Grabowsky served as managing partner for the Dallas office since 2003.  During that time, he achieved an astonishing 412 percent revenue growth and increased personnel from 95 to over 300 in 2007. 

Grabowsky is a graduate of Penn State, with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is also a certified public accounant. He is active in various civic and charitable organizations, including the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, the Dallas Citizens Council, The Women's Museum, the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, the Retina Foundation, Ursuline Academy, and the Salesmanship Club of Dallas.  As part of his professional life, he is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
