Lawrence E. Daurelle, ’73, is the president and chief executive officer of Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company, a life insurance subsidiary of Delphi Financial Group, Inc. He has over thirty-two years of experience in managing life insurance operations with an emphasis on finance, administration, and corporate development. He is a frequent contributor to industry publications, including The National Underwriter and Human Resources Executive.

Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company ("RSL"), underwrites a variety of group insurance coverage that is incorporated into basic employee benefit packages, including group life, group disability income, personal accident and dismemberment, integrated disability, administrative services, group dental and vision. In addition, RSL also offers a complete portfolio of fixed rate annuity products to individuals. Previously, he served as Vice President and Treasurer of RSL from May 1995. He also served as Vice President and Treasurer of Delphi from August 1998 through April 2001. Mr. Daurelle has over 32 years of experience in managing life insurance operations with an emphasis on finance, administration and corporate development. Mr. Daurelle is a frequent contributor to various industry publications including The National Underwriter and Human Resources Executive.

Mr. Daurelle graduated from Penn State in 1973 with a degree in accounting. He also received a MS degree in taxation from Drexel University.
