Mitch Cohen, ’81, is a Vice-Chairman at PwC. Mitch is responsible for Strategy, Innovation, Corporate Responsibility, Public Relations, coordinating our Global Network, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Mitch is the Senior Relationship partner on Comcast, Merck, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, and SunGard.
Mitch has been with PwC for 30 years—the last 18 as a partner. From 1998 to 2001 he was based in Budapest where he led the Technology, InfoComm and Entertainment (TICE) Practice for Central and Eastern Europe and Russia. During this time Mitch worked in over 20 countries, assisting clients with their stock listings in the US and UK and advising a number of governments on their privatisation efforts.
He relocated to New York and in 2001 was appointed Global Leader of the Information/Communications industry practice. In 2005 he became the Global Leader for the TICE practice and served on the Global Leadership Team. Mitch then became the Strategy Leader for the US Assurance practice in 2008 and assumed his current role a year later.
Mitch graduated from Penn State University with a degree in accounting. He is actively involved at Penn State where he serves on the Smeal Board of Visitors and as a fundraiser in their most recent campaign "For the Future". He is also on the Advisory Board of DonorsChoose.org. Mitch and his wife have two children and reside in New York City.
