Accounting Advisory Board
The Accounting Advisory Board advises and otherwise works with the Department in a number of different ways. The Board is made up of accounting, business, government, and education professionals who have an interest in promoting accounting education as it is understood at Penn State University, and in furthering the development and practice of accounting in all its applications.
The Board operates as an APG within the Smeal College Alumni Society Board and Penn State Alumni Association and meet on a regular basis each year. The Board meets with the Department Chair and other department representatives as needed. The Board may also act through committees, which may include Board members only or be joint committees including both Board members and Faculty members.
