Fall 2014 Supply Chain Career Fair
The Center for Supply Chain Research (CSCR) hosts the Supply Chain Career Fair during both fall and spring semesters at the University Park campus. The fair connects companies with students from supply chain and industrial engineering seeking permanent employment, co-ops, and internships in the supply chain field.

Corporate Information Sessions
The information sessions provide a forum for sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students interested in employment, internship, and co-op opportunities in supply chain management to learn about career opportunities and the application processes of the recruiting companies. Company participation in the information sessions is exclusive to the Center's corporate sponsors.

Fall 2014 Supply Chain Leaders Forum
Twice a year the Center for Supply Chain Research sponsors an invitation-only, issues discussion program called the Supply Chain Leaders Forum. The program is intended for mid to senior level supply chain managers and executives. Its purpose is to foster peer-to-peer discussions of current issues dealing with logistics and supply chain management and to seek commonalities in business practice. Themes from prior leader forums include supply chain visibility, customization, flexibility, transformation, strategy, Lean/Six Sigma, globalization, environmental sustainability, and talent development

Innovative Logistics - The Supply Chain Strategy Enabler
Strategic decisions determine the overall direction of a company’s supply chain, and a supply chain strategic plan is only as effective as its execution. Logistics innovation is the key to a successful supply chain strategy and ultimately a company’s business strategy. Industry leaders understand this overarching relationship. The 24th Annual R. Hadly Waters Supply Chain Symposium, Innovative Logistics – The Supply Chain Strategy Enabler, will be held on April 24th, 2014, at The Penn Stater Conference Center, University Park, PA. Join our keynote speaker, Mr. Paul Avampato, the vice president of Customer Service and Logistics in North America for Mondelez International, and industry experts for a practical discussion of their successes and perhaps some of their missteps in achieving supply chain strategy success through innovative logistics processes.

Spring 2014 Corporate Sponsor Meeting

These sessions afford meaningful networking opportunities with fellow corporate sponsors, faculty and students. The next sponsor meeting will be April 22 and 23, 2014, at University Park. The meeting will be a half day on April 22nd and a full day on April 23rd. CSCR is celebrating its 25th year in 2014, and we want to include our sponsors' input for the Center's long-term strategic plan. Attendance by a representative of each member company is strongly encouraged.
